Temescal Canyon Gateway Park, Pacific Palisades

Letter to AnitaSunday, October 26

Fitness Trainer and WOAR Board Member Terri West will lead this intermediate hike which starts on a fire road and continues up a well developed rocky trail. The hike will last approximately 2 hours, with 15 minutes half way through at a waterfall. Though scenic, this hike will test your endurance. Bring water, a snack and sunscreen. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on this hike.

Rain cancels within 24 hours of the outing.

We will meet near north restrooms which are located just before the hiking entrance.
Directions: From Los Angeles, head west on the Santa Monica Freeway (10) to its end and continue up-coast on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn north (right) on Temescal Canyon Road and drive 1.1 miles. Just after the intersection with Sunset Boulevard, turn left into the parking area (fee at self-pay station) for Temescal Gateway Park. There is free street parking along Sunset Blvd. Once inside the park, be sure to make a full stop at Stop signs as there are cameras that will cite you.

CLAMBAKE, the movie

Thank you to the Provincetown Women Innkeepers for including this in their current newsletter. I am extremely grateful for their port and cannot wait to capture the joys Women's Week on film...

"We have some exciting news -- award-winning filmmaker Andrea Meyerson is shooting a film called Clambake: 30 Years of Women's Week in Provincetown and you can be part of it!

During the past several months Andrea and her film crew have been shooting footage in Provincetown, intervi...ewing scores of people, and creating this beautiful love letter to Provincetown. She and her film crew will be here in October, filming Women's Week in all its glory!

Now it's time for you to jump in:

First, do you have photos, video, stories to tell about Women's Weeks past? Email everything you have to Lynn at lmogell@gmail.com and we will try to get your photos, videos, and stories into the film.

Second, come to Women's Week this year for our 30th Anniversary! We have a ton of exciting events for you to choose from, and -- who knows? -- you could be in the movie! We still have rooms available -- check it out HERE.

Third, donate to the project at gofundme.com/clambake and help us make this happen. We will be screening the film at the Provincetown International Film Festival in June 2015, and hope to see it in many LGBT Film Festivals throughout 2015. Be a part of this exciting project along with us!

If you know us, you know how much we love Provincetown and how much we love providing a great experience for our guests -- during Women's Week and all year long.

Come join us, and be part of this exciting history!
