Letter to AnitaLETTER TO ANITA has been selected to be part of OUTrageous: Santa Barbara LGBT Film Festival. The film will be part of the Ladies Who Brunch Program.

Letter to Anita probes at the legacy of singer Anita Bryant's anti-gay campaign of the late 1970s. The film tells the story of Ronni Sanlo, a mother of two who came out as lesbian in 1978 and divorced her husband, losing custody of her children as a result-an injustice that propelled Ronni into a life of LGBT activism. Narrated by Meredith Baxter.

Written by Diana Son and directed by Pasadena Playhouse Associate Artistic Director Seema Sueko, STOP KISS stars Sharon Leal (Bill Condon's "Dreamgirls," Fox's "Boston Public" and Lionsgate's "Addicted"), Angela Lin (Broadway's Chinglish), John Sloan (Fox's "Happy Hour"), Brandon Scott (ABC's "Grey's Anatomy"), Amanda Carlin ("Liar Liar") and Jeff De Serrano (A&E's "Longmire").

Enchanting and comic, heartbreaking yet hopeful, STOP KISS unfolds as two women discover new life in the aftermath of an assault, finding new voices and rekindling their courage.

Casper Andreas) and a specially prepared tribute video in honor of our LA/Southern California filmmakers who have presented work on Pride of the Ocean. Singles Events
We host a variety of unique events geared toward single women. These include QuickMatch Dating (speed dating), Singles Mixers and Dinner Dating (rotation after every course). These events are very popular and offer an easy and comfortable way to meet potential dates!

Hikes
WOAR offers a monthly hike at various locations around Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange Counties.

Conversation Salon
Andrea Meyerson will facilitate this monthly event offering an opportunity to engage in stimulating conversation with a small group of dynamic women. Topics will be suggested and voted on by the guests and everyone will have an opportunity to share their thoughts. Refreshments will be served. The "conversation" will end 15 minutes early offering time to socialize with one another before going home.Films SeriesPlease find my first write up about this/Comedy ShowNonstop Comedy Flight is held on the second Sunday of every month at Spitfire Grill in Santa Monica. FREE!

Films Series
Each month we will show a film and offer an opportunity to discuss and/or socialize when the the film ends. We will invite various filmmakers and there will be an opportunity for a "talk back" with directors, producers and actors. Screenings will include classics, new releases and work-in-progress. Although our focus will be LGBT-themed films and/or LGBT filmmakers, subjects and guests
may vary.

Comedy Show
Nonstop Comedy Flight is held on the second Sunday of every month at Spitfire Grill in Santa Monica. FREE!
